4 Stars Quite Good except Spanish and volume
Have had unit for more than a year. Mainly for 2 remotes for picking up when not in home office and calling voice mail from cell for messages.
As others say, would like listening volume to be higher but have had no complaints on outgoing.
One of my remote units seems to be deaf after one-year. All functions work, battery shows full charge but no sound can be heard - no mute isn’t on. UPDATE: After reading so many reviews on how customer service was so useless and reading manual and all the FAQ’s on the Panasonic site with nothing related to my “deaf” unit, I ordered another from AMAZON. BUT just then thinking to give it a chance just before Panasonic Customer Service closed I called. Helpful person with good English had me take out the battery, wait 1 minute to reset the unit. Vola! I can hear again.
Went back to cancel order on Amazon like 30 minutes after placed and was too late already being prepared and have to get it and return it. Can’t blame Amazon for being so fast!
I hate the voice mail retrieval asking me if want English or Spanish. I live in the U.S. not Mexico. I don’t know a word of Spanish. It is annoying that question can not be turned off to avoid the extra selection step. The U.S. language is ENGLISH! So why do I have to put up with the needless step?
4 Stars Full office phone system for $400
Had a fire in my office and had to move to a temporary facility.Since a phone system handling 4 lines would run $5000 w/installation I needed a cheaper alternative that I could install myself without wired extensions. We now have a base and 5 phones and this works as well as my custom installed unit in the original office.Messages, call transfers etc are all seamless. My only complaint is the volume on the portables is not quite loud enough. For the secretaries in the busy areas the head sets help this. You can’t beat this unit if you are starting a business.
5 Stars it is a good solution for a small business
This is my second 4-Line Expandable Cordless Phone System of Panasonic. This one is a bit different from the TG4000B I had. It has a better and clearer sound. It has more features if you have the time to read the thick booklet you can find many more. It is a plug and speak system that is delivering what you basically want: a clever home-small office telephone system without all the bother of wiring every room or station. It is a Panasonic product which means you should not have any issues with quality. don’t hesitate.
4 Stars System works well
We recently set up a base unit with 3 cordless handsets. Setup was simple, and the basic systemn works well. We’re still learning all the bells and whistles.
4 Stars Pretty good phone
I’ve been working with this phone system for several months now, and I like it very much. We have a smaller office-based business with only two lines and one remote handset, but for what we paid, its a great phone.
It looks like most of the negative comments are from customers familiar with the previous 4-line Panasonic phones. I guess if you’re used to them, this one has some continuity problems. I’m sorry about that, but for a first time user, the phone is very good.
We don’t use the pager feature, or the automated attendant. I have recorded our own music, and discovered its very important your music has virtually no bass at all. (That’s why so many voice mail systems have light concerto violin music, due to the lack of bass.) If there’s any bass, it will distort badly. (Not Panasonic’s problem, but a limitation of the phone line audio dynamics.)
The voice mail system works well, but it plays exclusively from the speaker phone on the base unit, even if you have a headset plugged in. That’s not so great if you’re wanting to preserve privacy and anonymity. In fact, depending on your circumstances, it might make this phone completely unacceptable because of this. Why Panasonic didn’t modify this feature, I don’t know. Major oversight, if you ask me.
However, the unit does have a headset for the base, and a headset can be plugged into any of the handsets. This is almost unheard of for this kind of phone. Its really excellent, and the call quality is outstanding using a good quality headset. (I use an older ATT model, with adjustable volume, and it works great.) I also have a wireless GN Netcom headset that isn’t as loud, and customers don’t hear me as well on that one.
The menu system is fairly easy to navigate. There are a bunch of features packed into this phone, and I’ve spent a lot of time with the manual to make sure I have very clear understanding on how the system works. So often, frustration develops when you assume you understand how something works, only to find out it has a different operation than you’re used to.
The intercom/transfer pad is a bit confusing, (case in point.) I thought it was a quick dial pad, when its not. Its an intercom/transfer system… just like it says. (Duh.) So, all the quick dial names are currently whited out.
Its a fairly complete phone. It may not have all the features you’re looking for, and might be very frustrating if you’re used to an older Panasonic model, but for the average small office, its great, and highly professional. (We got ours as a demo unit for half price, so that’s also a big part of our satisfaction.)

Panasonic BL C111A Network Camera Wired

The camera’s built-in sensor is a pyroelectric infrared sensor, which means it uses infrared rays to detect temperature differences within its range that are emitted naturally by people, animals, etc. The sensor can be used to trigger the camera to buffer (i.e., temporarily store) camera images in its memory. You can view these images later as desired. The sensor can also be used to trigger the camera to transfer images to someone or somewhere, by FTP, E-mail, or HTTP. Privacy mode allows you to protect your privacy by hiding the lens inside the camera, preventing camera images from being seen. If users are accessing the camera when privacy mode is turned on, the camera image area displayed in their web browsers turns gray. No camera pages can be accessed by users while privacy mode is turned on. Once privacy mode is turned off, users can press the refresh button in their web browsers to view images again. 4 Stars great camera as long as you don’t activate privacy mode
I just wanted to add one bit of information that folks may find useful with regard to this network camera (and the wireless version BL-C131A). I agree with the majority of other reviews here that for the price, this is a great network camera, and the Panasonic customer service is terrific! Once set up, the camera has stayed reliably up and running *as long as you do NOT activate the privacy mode*. This may be an issue with my particular router/ISP (I am on AT&T DSL with a 2Wire brand router), but I find that whenever I activate privacy mode for more than a few minutes, it seems to cause my network to hang up and I can only clear it by resetting the router. This is the only reason I give the product 4 stars instead of 5, otherwise I love this camera for the price. Hopefully Panasonic will fix the lock-up problem in a future firmware update.
4 Stars very cool - kind of expensive
I would recommend this camera. It has been very reliable and even works when I view it with my smart cell phone.
The only problem is it is a little expensive.
5 Stars works fabulously most of the time - may be a router issue
I love having these cameras. They were easy to set up and work well almost all of the time. I believe the problem may be my router and not the cameras but I have had to reset the cameras and reset them up a few times over the last several months. Not a huge deal as it is easy but I would prefer that everything work perfectly all the time!
1 Star No cable included
Be aware that you need an LAN cable to connect this thing to your router.
And there’s no LAN cable included — which for a $150 item is pretty chintzy. I hate companies that pull that.
Unfortunately I can’t rate the actual performance of the product, because it’s 11 o’clock at night, and I’m setting it up now, and it didn’t come with a cable.
1 Star Disappointed ***AMENDED**- please read
I bought this camera for one reason only; to allow my family back home in Canada to view my wedding here in Texas. After setting it up and testing it a few days before, I was a little worried because it froze up quite often. Sure enough, when the big moment rolled around, the camera locked up and my family was unable to view the wedding. Thanks, Panasonic. $160 down the drain.
**************************** AMENDED ***********************************
Ok, not so disappointed now… I feel compelled to amend my previous review/comment about this camera and apologize to Panasonic. After some more research into my problem, I discovered the fault was not with the camera but with my Linksys wireless router. I have since purchased another router and the camera works perfectly. It has been running for many days straight and I have no problems to report.

4 Stars Love them
I love theses phone. I bought 4 of them to use in my salon. It is so much more professional to transfer a call to stylist then to call out to her. They are very easy to use, except when I have put the handset on speaker phone, I can not get if off until I end the call. I can’t find directions about that in manual. But I am sure I will figure that out someday.
The calls are clear and easy to hear even over the hairdryers.
5 Stars Quality product and fast response.
I ordered the phone to add to a set already in place. The response time was truly outstanding and the product we easy to sync and put into service. THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS.
3 Stars Love having extra handsets
I made a mistake, I was reviewing what I thought was our new cordless home phone. But it was actually supposed to be for the extra handset we got with the new 2-line cordless set we also bought. So please excuse my review on this particular item as it’s written before this one.
Thank You!
5 Stars Great sound quality, easy to use with great features
I have owned the base station for this product for quite some time. It works very well. I bought the base station knowing that I would need to add extensions at some point. I went over the reviews posted before I purchased two of these expansion sets.
I’m not sure why some reviewers say the sound quality is poor. It may be their choice of “phone companies,” rather than the phones themselves. Many of the cable companies offer phone service and it’s of really poor sound quality when it’s compared with the AT&T or Verizon networks’ landlines. Anyway, the sound on all of the sets is fine.
I especially like the fact that the expansion sets work off the base station. You don’t need a telephone jack in the location of the expansion set and they stay charged in their cradles.
One reviewer wrote that it was too complicated to register the expansion sets with the base station. Huh? It is a simple operation that is spelled out in the short manual that comes with the phone and the instructions are even displayed on the phone’s screen when you first insert the battery. All you do is go to the base station, hold the intercom button until it beeps and then press OK on the expansion set and it’s done!
Lastly, I decided to order two more.
5 Stars Great Phone
The original phone, which I use exclusively in my home office, came with 2 handsets. Sometimes I am on the phone all day, so the 2nd handset comes in handy if I blow thru a battery.
I ordered this 3rd handset as an add-on to use downstairs. The 2-line feature allows me to also answer my home phone as well as my business phone. Upon arrival, I plugged the new handset and programmed to locate the base unit (one-button). This took all of 30 seconds. Fast, easy, powerful signal and great clarity.
This phone does not come with the optional belt clip, which is about $1. If you plan on using a hands-free headset (I recommend Plantronics), the clip is a must. Panasonic’s customer service is great - they will help you locate the part (which costs more to ship than the clip itself).
Great Phone!

5 Stars Keeps your Garmin in place
Ever since I got my Garmin, I had trouble with it not sticking either to my dashboard or window. I tried cleaning the area, applying the suction cup to a totally dry window, wetting the suction cup, nothing worked. It would stick for about an hour and then fall off. With this portable dashboard mount, my C550 Garmin stays in place. This is actually the best accessory I’ve ever bought for anything.
SMALL downside is that I keep this in my arm rest and once it gets scrunched up it won’t lay as flat as when I bought it. But this in no way keeps it from staying in place. I recommend this for anyone who has a Garmin suction cup that won’t stay stuck.
5 Stars Stays Put !!
Stays put, works good for my Nuvi 765T on my GMC Sierra dashboard. Much easier than the suction mount that came with it. Ritz Camera had the best price.
5 Stars Great Dashboard Mount
