User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Phenomenal product for the price
For the price you can’t beat this SDHC card. I do recommend if you’re going to be using it in a DSLR or other digital camera that you format the card in the camera before use. It seemed to help write speeds for me. At 12.2 mp I get about 1418 high-quality jpegs, and with RAW+jpeg, about 390. All in all I’m very pleased with this purchase. I now own 3 for longer photo shoots, and they’ve never let me down yet.

5 Stars easy to use
A great product that worked with all my electronics and easy to use!!! can’t wait for the 100 GB micro SD!! (if that’s possible) :)

5 Stars Kingston 4GB SDHC Memory Card
Excellent picture quality. Only caution is that HC cards do not work when inserting in older model printers so be sure it is compatible with your computer system.

5 Stars great for cell phone
i bought this for my lg vu and my sister has one for here blackberry and my dad has one for his razor its great.

5 Stars 2Gb Micro SD for my phone
I bought this for my phone on Amazon for about a third of the cheapest price I could find elsewhere in a store. No problems, but it’s Kingston, so that is to be expected. Good product, good price.

Sony MSMT4G 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo Mark2 Media

Featuring 4GB of memory, the compact MS-MT4G Memory Stick PRO Duo Mark 2 media card is the perfect solution for storing and transferring high resolution video and still photos recorded on compatible Handycam camcorders and Cyber-shot digital cameras. Designed for high speed and stellar storage capacity, this reliable media is just what you need for storing your memories and transferring them with ease.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Powerful little memory stick…
I bought this as I have a lot of equipment now that really requires a memory stick–happily they all require the same size. …Though if they didn’t, the Sony Memory Stick PRODuo 4GB Mark2 would still be fairly helpful, as it comes with an adaptor for slots that are bigger than the one in the PSP or in most HP digital cameras.

As a happy side-effect, my Sims2: Castaway game hardly ever freezes up now. :-)
Thanks for reading!

1 Star THIS MEMORY CARD IS SO BAD I JUST USED ONE WEEK
I JUST USED FOR ONE WEEK AND NOW SHOW A FORMAT ERROR ALL THE TIME

AND IS NOTHING I CAN DO

IF YOU KNOW CAN I DO SOMETHING TO GET MY MONEY BACK PLEASE LET ME KNOW

DO NOT BUY THIS MEMORY CARD

5 Stars great decision
i am extremely happy that i decided to purchase this item. the price off set me at first but it was worth it. didnt have to do anything. i just popped it in and i was ready to go. except the tech is a little too new for my older laptop (hp pavilion zd8000). it doesnt register all the space so i have to connect the card to my comp through my psp and not my card reader, but thats a minor issue. everything else is perfect. the shipping was speedy too :-).

3 Stars as good as free can be, good flash memory
like I wrote, as good as free can be.

it’s a good flash memory

5 Stars It was the genuine article
It was about half the price of a physical store and it wasn’t fake! I bought it from Amazon and I think they are reliable. I am completely satisfied. Well except for the fact that Sony uses these instead of the “standard” SD card. Plus you have to use that adapter to insert it into any card slot.

SanDisk SDDRX3 CF A31 Extreme USB 2 0 Reader Black

SanDisk SDDRX3 CF A31 Extreme USB 2 0 Reader Black

The SanDisk Extreme USB 2.0 Reader is the perfect accessory for SanDisk Extreme CompactFlash cards. When coupled with a SanDisk Extreme CompactFlash card, it helps you transfer large files faster through your computer’s USB port, at a speed of 30MB/s. It also features the reliability and professional-level services that have become synonymous with the SanDisk Extreme product family.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars **** An Awesome Reader ****
A must have for anyone who shoots a lot of sports or just shoot a lot at once. Example: I do “Sports-Action Photography”. Last week I downloaded 412 photos in 54 seconds, using a SanDisk Extreme III CF 30 MB/s 4GB. The reader is “The Best” I’ve ever had out of many. When not in use I put a blank CF in it to keep the dust out as it sits on my desk.

4 Stars Usable and reliable, good value.
Bought to replace my antiquated SanDisk CF reader that would not work at all with the newer UDMA cards.

Pros?

- Inexpensive

- Well built

- Includes cable

- Includes software (have yet to use though)

- Nice rubber pad/foot on the bottom

Cons?

- Potentially finicky operation on a Mac (~43 minutes to copy 2.49 gigs of images to a MacBook Pro) with an Extreme IV 4G card. Subsequent use of the reader proved much faster (~3 minutes to copy 2 gigs of images) regardless of CF card type used (Extreme III, Extreme IV, Ultra II, or Lexar 133).

Speed aside, the reader is durable and affordable. No regrets about buying it.

5 Stars Effiently Fast
This product sure beats uploading my images using my card reader that is built in to my computer. IT cuts the time in half. I use mainly extreme III cards by sandisk and it is a perfect match. I highly recommend.

4 Stars May Not Be Compatible With Some Faster CompactFlash Cards
Upon Receiving a camera I had ordered at the same time as this reader, I discovered that it did not include any storage on-board, so I went to a local shop and picked up a 4GB 233X Lexar Professional CompactFlash card as I had not yet received the 4GB 300X Transcend CompactFlash cards I had ordered from another vendor.

This reader works fine with the 233X Lexar card, but the 300X Transcend card will not mount at all using this reader. Oddly enough, the 300X Transcend card works fine with my camera which came out well before CompactFlash IV cards, but for some reason this reader refuses to read it.

It works fine (as expected) with CompactFlash III or lower cards, but if you plan on purchasing cards faster than 233X, you might want to look elsewhere for a different reader.

4 Stars Sturdy, Fast but expensive
I’ve been happy with this card reader. I had bought a cheap one initially and it broke after a couple of uses. This Sandisk reader holds the cards straight is foolproof in terms of loading the cards and reads the cards much faster than the camera or the cheaper one I originally bought. It’s expensive, but worth it.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Fantastic
I kept a least 6 months of pictures on this before I bothered to download. It is wonderful and holds tons of pictures and videos. Great item for the advid picture taker.

5 Stars Works just as it should
I purchased this card for my Treo 650 and its worked great. The phone doesn’t need fast read/write speeds so it has never been an issue for me.

Would buy again if needed.

Just a side note: the max SD card a Treo 650 can have is 2GB.

5 Stars 5 stars product! Great brand.
I tried to use other brands and had a lot of problems.

So use this one and everythink will be ok!!!

5 Stars This Brand Just Works
If you need a general purpose work horse, This is the card

5 Stars Good card. Good price.
Good card and good price.

I ordered 5 of these cards from Nextweb. You’ll note in the product description that the product comes in retail packaging. I received 5 bulk packaged cards. Quite irritating, given the retail card goes for about $3 more than the bulk packed cards. So I’m out $15.

Plus, I paid $22 for shipping/handling for 5 cards. Nice right. I paid $22 bucks for about $5 of priority mail shipping of 2 ounces and two bubble envelopes.

So great cards. Work great in our digital picture frames, but not real happy with transaction.

SanDisk SDCFX3 004G A31 4 GB Extreme III CompactFlash Card Retail Package

SanDisk SDCFX3 004G A31 4 GB Extreme III CompactFlash Card Retail Package

SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash is designed exclusively for the high-end, professional photographers who work under extreme conditions and expect the very best in products and support services.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars SanDisk Extreme III’s are Excellent
I have several SanDisk Extreme III compact flash cards: 2Gig and 4Gig cards. I’ve never had a problem with any of them, and they are fast, not only to write to (if you have a camera that can write a lot in a burst, as I do, both a Canon 30D and a Canon 40D) but it’s also really fast to copy your pictures off of these cards to a PC, especially if your PC’s reader can process them quickly! On my 30D and 40D cameras, I save both the large JPG and the RAW files to the SanDisk cards, and I can shoot in the mode that will take many per second, and these cards have always been able to keep up with the cameras. I will only use these. I have shot in temperatures from 110 degrees F and in places below -10 degrees F with these cards, and I have never a problem with the cards.

You have to be careful, though, as once I bought one of these from an online auction place, for a price that was too good to be true, and it turned out to look like a real one, but it was a knock off. It was not as fast as the real thing (it didn’t have a serial number on it, but other than the missing serial number, it looked real). So, buyer beware. I returned it to the seller who was on the other side of the world from me. Cards sold directly from Amazon have never been a problem for me - I buy cameras and camera components all the time from Amazon, and have always been happy with each purchase.

Update: December 2008 - I just added a SanDisk 8GB Extreme III CF Card to my inventory and I could not be happier. Works great and keeps up with my Canon EOS 30D and my Canon EOS 40D.

3 Stars okay
Seems that it goes a little slow after taking a few pictures. It is not lightning fast in my sony A300.

5 Stars SanDisk Extreem III 4 Gig FC
It works as advertised on my Canon 5D.

I only use SanDisk FC cards - only once did I have to used a recovery program on an older 2 gig FC.

5 Stars One Happy Customer!
Today I attended a birthday party and took about a hundred pictures - I could have taken almost 4,000 with my new SanDisk SDCFX3-004G-A31 4 GB Extreme III CompactFlash Card. Taken with a Canon Power Shot S419 (not a high end camera by any measure), I had 100% super fine shots. The product and provider get an A+ rating.

5 Stars Good Buy!
Excellent card and amazing price.

Works fast with my Canon and it gives me 454 raw images!

I’m satisfied with this product.
