5 Stars SanDisk Extreme III’s are Excellent
I have several SanDisk Extreme III compact flash cards: 2Gig and 4Gig cards. I’ve never had a problem with any of them, and they are fast, not only to write to (if you have a camera that can write a lot in a burst, as I do, both a Canon 30D and a Canon 40D) but it’s also really fast to copy your pictures off of these cards to a PC, especially if your PC’s reader can process them quickly! On my 30D and 40D cameras, I save both the large JPG and the RAW files to the SanDisk cards, and I can shoot in the mode that will take many per second, and these cards have always been able to keep up with the cameras. I will only use these. I have shot in temperatures from 110 degrees F and in places below -10 degrees F with these cards, and I have never a problem with the cards.
You have to be careful, though, as once I bought one of these from an online auction place, for a price that was too good to be true, and it turned out to look like a real one, but it was a knock off. It was not as fast as the real thing (it didn’t have a serial number on it, but other than the missing serial number, it looked real). So, buyer beware. I returned it to the seller who was on the other side of the world from me. Cards sold directly from Amazon have never been a problem for me - I buy cameras and camera components all the time from Amazon, and have always been happy with each purchase.
Update: December 2008 - I just added a SanDisk 8GB Extreme III CF Card to my inventory and I could not be happier. Works great and keeps up with my Canon EOS 30D and my Canon EOS 40D.
3 Stars okay
Seems that it goes a little slow after taking a few pictures. It is not lightning fast in my sony A300.
5 Stars SanDisk Extreem III 4 Gig FC
It works as advertised on my Canon 5D.
I only use SanDisk FC cards - only once did I have to used a recovery program on an older 2 gig FC.
5 Stars One Happy Customer!
Today I attended a birthday party and took about a hundred pictures - I could have taken almost 4,000 with my new SanDisk SDCFX3-004G-A31 4 GB Extreme III CompactFlash Card. Taken with a Canon Power Shot S419 (not a high end camera by any measure), I had 100% super fine shots. The product and provider get an A+ rating.
5 Stars Good Buy!
Excellent card and amazing price.
Works fast with my Canon and it gives me 454 raw images!
I’m satisfied with this product.

5 Stars Awesome SD Card!!!
I bought this card specifically for my newest digital camera (Casio Exilim Z700) because it was recommended for higher megapixel cameras. It works really well and the resolution on the images is great. It can hold about 850 pictures on a 7 megapixel camera. My Windows XP-based computer recognized the card right away the first time I put it in (I have a built-in SD card reader in my laptop).
I would recommend this card to anyone who has a 7 MP camera or higher because it can handle higher resolution pictures, has the same high quality that other SanDisk cards have (I also own a regular 2 GB SD card and a 1 GB micro SD card in my SLVR phone).
1 Star Very Unhappy with Customer Service and shipping service
I am very unhappy that while I never received the product I am not being credited for the entire amount paid!!! I live on a boat and the items were to be delivered to the Marina. I have NEVER had an issue with this kind of delivery before or since(and believe me I have had plenty of stuff delivered there)until this order! So the bottom line…the product was not delivered to the address - for whatever reason it was “held” at the Post Office and I had no way to access the P.O. and then returned to Amazon! I believe I should be credited for the shipping as well!!
5 Stars Great!!!
Good product. Received just in time for wedding where I needed an extra CF card for backup. Worked flawlessly.
5 Stars Reliable Product & Seller
SanDisks have proven to be reliable, and so has this seller. I received exactly what I ordered, in a reasonable time.
5 Stars Good CF card
I was happy with this purchase. I was looking for a card for my Digital SLR, and wanted one with fairly fast write speed, but didn’t want to spend much money. This card was exactly what I was looking for. It’s large enough to fit many photos, and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it writes. For the price, it more than met my expectations.

5 Stars Great Purchase!
I bought this card for my new camera after i found out that it would accept SDHC cards and have not had any problems - in my Canon camera it holds over 3700 pictures or 101 minutes of video!
I chose this product also because it came with a HC reader.
2 Stars Beware: you won’t get the card reader if “Straight Trading” is the seller
At the time I’m writing this, this chip is being fulfilled by an outfit called “Straight Trading”, and the page claims that the price includes both the 8-gig chip and an SDHC card reader. But I only received the chip. When I complained about it to Amazon, they made good on it with their usual excellent service. Apparently, the chip+reader package was offered my a previous supplier, and the text is still on the page, even though Straight Trading doesn’t honor it.
5 Stars A great speedy card
I purchased this SanDisk card along with a new Canon Digital Rebel XSi. I wanted a high capacity card since 12 megapixel RAW files take up a lot of space. I also bought an 8GB Transcend card as a backup, and I have a feeling a lot of people are looking at that card as well.
Many probably wonder why this card costs so much more, and the answer is speed. The XSi is not a fast camera by dSLR standards, but I can tell a noticeable difference between the write speed of this and the Transcend card. I like to shoot in auto-exposure bracket mode for HDR photography, and this card clears the buffer quicker in case I need to shoot multiple shots. Other than that, I can’t tell too much of a difference. I haven’t had either card long enough to fail, so I can’t comment on that. If you’re willing to spend a few more bucks, I think the write speed of this card is well worth the cost.
5 Stars Great SDHC Card
Love the card. It’s pretty fast and have never had a problem with it.
5 Stars Forgot it was in the Camera
A thing like a memory card should work so well it’s invisible. It’s a little like a support person at a corporation who maintains things so well she or he never gets a raise because management doesn’t see what good they do since everything works so well.
Well, that’s the case with the 8 Gig card. It just works and works fast in my Ricoh GX100.
When the request from Amazon for a review of this product appeared in email I had to check the camera to see which card I was using. Sure enough, it is the new 8 Gig card. Works great.
The card reader works perfectly as well which is important since the card is a SDHC card and cannot be read by a standard SD reader.
I actually upload photos in the camera using the camera and a cable, so I don’t use the reader very much, but the card in the camera gives me no problems.

5 Stars 16BD SHHC MEMORY CARD AND COMPACT READER
THIS IS A FANTASTIC PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE. IT WORKS PERFECTLY WITH THE NEW AVC CAMCORDERS. THE CONVENIENCE OF THE COMPACT READER IN THE FIELD IS A BIG HELP.
5 Stars Excellent SDHC card
The Transcend 16 GB SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card with Compact Card Reader functions exactly as expected. The computer immediately recognized the card and I was able to use it right away.
5 Stars Excellent price and product
Totally satisfied with my purchase.
Can not beat the price for 16gb and with reader.
Would highly recommend purchasing.
1 Star Memory Cards Failed
I bought two of these cards. Both failed out of the box. They had sequential serial numbers. I checked with Transend to see if they were knock offs. They were true Transend products. My camera, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ50, would not read or format the card(s). I could not reformat the cards using a format utility specific for SD cards. I purchased three Sandisk cards, and all work perfrectly out of the box.
5 Stars awesome speeds
I bought this for my digital camera. write speed is between 6 to 10 MBps as per SDHC class 6 standard, but that is unimportant for me. What matters is the read speed, because when you transfer photos to your computer it is the read speed of the card that matters. This card gives awesome read speeds >20MBps. It takes 15 mins to copy whole 16 GB photos/videos
